If you wanna have a look, I put almost all of them on this webpage and I may update it from time to time (when I will discover more gfx).

posted by Grim on 26/07/2008 at 5:32

Pornophonique is a german music band. Their latest release, 8-Bit Lagerfeuer, is... well, simply awesome! :)

Their music style is some sort of electro/pop/rock and they are using LSDJ (on Gameboy) in most of their tracks. Feel free to support these guys and buy the album as a real CD.

Knoc! Knoc! Who's there?
posted by Grim on 20/07/2008 at 15:06

Guess who's back with a new demo?

PHAT is a demo for Amstrad Plus (128kb RAM required), it's coming from overseas and will show you some nice effects but also that demo can be done using C language (with Z88dk in this case).
If you want to know more about how to use C on CPC/Plus, you can go there to get started.

Twister contest
posted by Grim on 22/01/2008 at 3:38

To all those living in their own world and are not following what's going on in the demoscene, a funny twister contest appeared in the C64 scene and is spreading to others platforms.
The rules? Just do a twister (or rubber bar, as you wish) in 256bytes.
The price? As usual: pride, glory and a free beer at the next party! :)

This is a screenshot of some of these twisters :
Twisting Sister (C64)
Twisting Twistor Is Twisting 3 by Camelot (C64)
ZXwister by Ate Bit (ZX Spectrum) (I love this one! :)
Twistiminus by Arkos (CPC)
You will find more of them at Pouët.net.

CPC coders out there (hello Optimus ;), if you wanna code something but are too busy with work, wife, etc, just try to do a 256bytes demo while your coffee-break and join the twist!

[17:27]Mane:Procrastination Rules !
[17:14]Proof:Morons shouts 'scene is dead' to justify their inactivity and lack of any skills. These lamers don't deserve attention but death. Cheers.
[13:50]voxfreax:@fact: and why are you writing to dead people man? Are you a zombie too?? :P :)
[13:48]Fact:CPC scene actually died in 1995.

[15:17]Optimus:We want more ribbons on CPC demoz!!!

[18:30]who:this is a test

[21:13]BDCIron:@power: pas moi trop loin ce coup ci et j'aime pas les villes...
[20:47]power:qui vient au Bee Meeting ?
[16:02]norecess:@optimus btw, I won prizes at demoparty and the only thing I got, was making troubles in the team (at the time, it was hard to split a Palm machine into 4 separate parts :)
